Marion Edwards Medlock, 74, of Easley, South Carolina, loving wife of Doug Medlock, passed away Friday, Oct. 5, 2018.

Born in Belhaven, she was a daughter of the late W.R. and Johnnie Mae Edwards.

In addition to her loving husband, she is survived by two sons, Charles R. Pugh, Jr. (Tammy), of Belhaven, and Jason Medlock (Christine); three daughters, Amanda P. Carroll (Dan), of Greenville, South Carolina, Shelia P. Landrum (Rickey) of Easley, S.C., and Vicky Richardson (Bill); five grandchildren, Kayla, Kade, Alexis, Tres and Layla; two great-grandchildren, Cooper and Cruz; two sisters, Carol Hill, of Murfeesboro, and Betty Waters, of Belhaven; one brother, Rickey Edwards (Loretta), of Mt. Olive; one sister-in-law, Barbara Gilstrap; and a very dear friend, Eva Chafin.

She was preceded in death by one brother, Buddy Edwards, and husband Charles Richard Pugh, Sr.

She passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her family and her loving husband.

The visitation was held Monday, Oct. 8, 2018, from 10:30 a.m. until 11:45 a.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest, and the funeral service followed at noon in the Northwest Chapel. Burial was held in Woodlawn Memorial Park.

The family will be at the home of Doug Medlock.
