Fast, safe, convenient . . . drive through and beat the flu at the Drive-thru Flu Shot Clinic in Columbia Just roll in, roll up a sleeve and the shot that will protect you all full season, whit seated in your vehicle.

The Tyrrell County Health Department will conduct their annual Drive-thru Flu Shot Clinic on Tuesday, October 16th from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Health Department, 408 Bridge Street in Columbia. You will also be helping public health staff and community partners with an opportunity to evaluate the efficiency of an alternate kind of mass vaccination clinic in the event of influenza pandemic.

All residents, ages 18 and older, are invited to drive through the Health Department parking lot, roll up their sleeve and receive a flu shot to protect against influenza this season. The Drive-Thru Flu Shot Clinic is also a good alternative for people who have difficulty with ambulation or people who are wheelchair-bound.

The flu shot is $35. Cash, checks, Medicare, Medicaid, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, Med-Cost, Tri-Care and United Healthcare Insurance will be accepted.
