WOMEN SUPPORTING WOMEN: On Oct. 24, the Washington Women’s Bible Study came together for their traditional fall gathering to enjoy a delicious breakfast, hear information about Open Door Community Center, and learn during the book of Job Bible study. Marcia Norwood, interim executive director of ODCC, provided information and answered questions about the center, a soon-to-open shelter for women and their children who currently do not have a place to call home. The Washington Women’s Bible Study women were given the opportunity to make a donation in support of ODCC and more than $1,000 was donated.  This generous support will assist ODCC in helping women and their children improve their circumstances.
