Mr. Richard Louis Schoppaul, age 58, a resident of Chocowinity, died Sunday, Nov. 4, 2018, at Durham VA Medical Center. A chapel service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 9, 2018, in the Chapel of Paul Funeral Home & Crematory in Washington. Burial will follow at 2 p.m. in Greenleaf Memorial Park in New Bern. The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 8, 2018, at Paul Funeral Home & Crematory of Washington.
