Bethany Dawn Linton

Bethany Dawn Linton, age 27, a resident of Washington, went to be with the Lord Saturday Nov. 17, 2018 at Vidant Inpatient Hospice. A celebration of her life will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday Nov. 25, 2018 at Edward Christian Church and will be conducted by Pastor David Linton and Bishop Ed L. Pollock.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.

Bethany was born April 7, 1991 in Johnston County. She was a 2009 graduate of Southside High School, former volunteer at Clark’s Kiddie Corral and former cashier at Wal-Mart and Dollar Tree. She was owner and operator of Hooked on You Jewelry and a member of Edward Christian Church.

Survivors include her parents, David and Linda Linton of the home, two brothers, David “D.C.” Linton Jr. and wife Amy of Washington, James “Daniel” Linton and wife Michelle of Washington, one sister, Sarah Miller of Bladenboro, one step sister, Tamela Tate and husband Sam of Washington, one step brother, Nicholas “Nick” Yeatts and Heather of Bayview, paternal grandparents, David G. and Barbara Linton of Franklinville and maternal grandparents, Jack and Shirley Dunning of Washington, and Winfred and Lucia “Lou” Wright of Washington, seven nieces and one nephew.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Beverly Dunning Linton and paternal grandmother, Phyllis Brown Linton.

Memorials may be made to Team Bethany of the Beaufort County Relay for Life.
