Clarence Ely, Jr., 68, of 124 Trotter Lane, Beaufort, “North River Community” died Friday, Nov. 23, 2018. A funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 1, 2018, at God’s City of Refuge, 953 Hibbs Road, Newport. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday, Nov. 31, 2018, from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. at the God’s City of Refuge. Arrangements are by the Trinity Memorial Funeral Home, Kinston.
