The Columbia Lions Club presented a Certificate of Service to Hardison’s Carolina BBQ last week in recognition of the businesses’ generous support o f the North Carolina Lions VIP (Visually Impaired Persons) Fishing Tournament, Inc. The Jamesville business has provided the bar-b-que for the annual event’s Monday night dinner for almost 20 years. The VIP Fishing Tournament is a three-day fall recreational and educational event held on the Outer Banks and attended by more than 500 blind and visually impaired persons from across North Carolina.
