Sharon E. Steinbacher

Sharon E. Steinbacher, age 67, of New Sewickley Twp., passed away on Thursday, Dec. 13, 2018 while under the care of Good Samaritan Hospice in Wexford, PA.

Born May 25, 1951 in Dayton, KY, she was the daughter of Louise T. Williams and the late Denver L. Patterson Sr.

Sharon was a longtime member of the First Presbyterian Church in Washington, NC, and the First Presbyterian Church of Somerdale, NJ. She enjoyed sailing with her late husband, Richard J. Steinbacher, making many trips along the east coast aboard their beloved sailboat “The Black Knight.” Above all, she cherished the time she spent with her family most of all. She will be dearly missed.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her mother, Louise T. Patterson of Alexandria, KY; her daughters, Dr. Chrissy (Peter) Keller of Gibsonia, PA, and Heather (Jim) McFeeters of Wilmington, NC; her step-children, Retired Major Richard (Lisa) Steinbacher, U.S. Army, of Boone, NC, and Kimberly (Bill) Dunn of New Hope, PA; her grandchildren, Tristan, Sara, Matthew and Elisabeth; her step-grandchildren, Julian, Alex, Emily, Ellie and Anna; and her brothers, Rick (Vivian) Patterson of FL, Jack (Patty) Patterson of KY, Denver L. (Charlotte) Patterson Jr., of AZ, and Robert (Pam) Patterson of KY. She also leaves behind several loving nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received from 9 a.m. until the time of the Celebration of Life service at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 18, 2018 at the Boylan-Glenn-Kildoo Funeral Home, Inc., Cranberry Twp., PA.

Sharon will be laid to rest with Richard at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.
