Mrs. Deborah Clark Ellison, age 63, a resident of 2181 Old New Bern Road, Chocowinity, died Sunday, Dec. 16, 2018, at her home.

A memorial service will be held 7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 21, 2018, at Hodges Chapel Pentecostal Holiness Church, officiated by Mitchell Whaley. The family will receive friends following the service.

Mrs. Ellison was born in Beaufort County on Aug. 16, 1955, daughter of Eddie Eugene Clark and Maeola Daniels Pollard. On June 29, 1973, she married Billy Dewayne Ellison, Sr., who survives. She attended Hodges Chapel Pentecostal Holiness Church. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and taking cruises.

In addition to her husband, Billy Dewayne Ellison, of the home, she is survived by her sons, Billy Dewayne Ellison, Jr., and Dewayne Lee Ellison and wife Caroline Louise Ellison, all of Chocowinity; her daughter, Heather Ellison Whaley and husband Benjamin Matthew Whaley, of Vanceboro; her grandchildren, Erica Leigh Ellison, Bailey Lynn Ellison, Liam Lee Ellison, Autumn Nichole Whaley, Brenen Myles Whaley and Alyese Gray Whaley; a great-grandson on the way; her brothers, Ottis Clark, Oscar Clark and Eddie Clark; and her sister, Mary Oliver Thibeault.
