The Student Council Association at Tyrrell Elementary School sponsored a canned food drive to receive donations for the Christmas holiday. SCA members shown above delivered 803 food items to the Church Road Emergency Food Closet, 2020 Travis Road west of Columbia, and Henry Hill (right), food pantry director, expressed his gratitude to the students and donors.
