Christy Armstrong Hassell, selected by her peers as Tyrrell County’s Employee of the Year, was presented a plaque and check during the county commissioners’ meeting on Dec. 4. Hassell is an Income Maintenance Caseworker III in the Department of Social Services and lead worker over Food and Nutrition Services, energy, child care, and Work First programs.
