FUTURE FARMERS: The Northeast Regional School of Biotechnology and Agriscience FFA Chapter participated in the 2018 North Carolina FFA Livestock Evaluation Junior Division Career Development Event on Nov. 27 in Wake County. This event is sponsored by the North Carolina Cattleman’s Association and the North Carolina State Fair. Team members included Conner Mills, Courtney Brown, Noah Johnson and Zachary Watford. Their FFA Advisor is Julia Coltrain. The NERSBA chapter placed 5^th in the state out of 68 teams in the Junior Division. Conner Mills was the highest scoring individual for the Junior Division. He placed first out of 218 junior competitors and will be recognized at the 91^st State FFA Convention in June, 2019.
