Rodney H. Duzan, 64, of Chocowinity, passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 26, 2018.

A funeral service will be held Sunday, Dec. 30, 2018, at 3 p.m. in the Wilkerson Funeral Chapel, Vanceboro. Burial will follow immediately at Kitt Swamp Christian Church Cemetery, Ernul.

Rodney was a native of Craven County but was a resident of Beaufort County for the majority of his life. For 12 years, he was employed with Weyerhaeuser. He then began working for Fountain Power Boats, where he would remain for 14 years. Rodney proudly attended Kitt Swamp Christian Church.

Preceding him in death are his parents, Howard and Evelyn Duzan; brother, David Duzan; and daughter, Jessica Duzan Coltrain.

He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Barbara G. Duzan; daughter, Kimberly Duzan Carrow, of New Bern; brother, Howard Duzan, Jr. and wife Jennifer, of Hoover, Alabama; granddaughter, Taylor D. Carrow; four nieces and two nephews.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at 1:30 p.m. at Wilkerson Funeral Home, Vanceboro.
