Nellie Faye LaRoque Clagon, age 103, died Thursday, Jan. 17, 2019, at Crystal Coast Hospice House in Newport.

Private family graveside services will be held at a later date.

Mrs. Clagon was born on Nov. 5, 1915, in Maysville. She was the daughter of the late Richard Oldfield LaRoque and Ruby Morse LaRoque. Nellie Faye was a member of the United Methodist Church in Washington.

Survivors include her son, Thomas LaRoque Clagon and wife Catherine (Sudie) Clagon; two granddaughters, Catherine Hope Clagon Woolard (Timmy) and Holly LaRoque Clagon Fennell (Davis); and five great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Crystal Coast Hospice House in Newport.
