Clifton “Sugar Bear” Hardy, 65, of 490 Bell Town Road, Dover, “Ft. Barnwell Community,” died Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2019, at Pruitt Health Care, New Bern. A funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 2, 2019, at New Deliverance Church of Christ, Disciples of Christ. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Viewing will be held Friday, Feb. 1, 2019, from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. at the funeral home and will resume one hour prior to the service at the church.
