The North Carolina Department of Transportation is calling on residents and motorists to report potholes in state-maintained streets and roads.
A “Report a Pothole” website has been established.
You will be asked for the nearest valid address to the pothole, the county, street name, city, nearby intersection, and (optional) GPS coordinates.
Is the pothole in the travel lane or shoulder lane? Is there a potential for vehicle damage?
What size is the pothole? Identify a nearby landmark.
You must enter your email address, and a “tracking number” will be sent to you.
To report a pothole, go to www.ncdot.gov/contact/Pages/form.aspx?UnitName=pothole&sourceUrl=/contact/
