Jean Shavender Woolard Smith, 88, of Creswell, died Tuesday, March 12, 2019, at Vidant Chowan Hospital, Edenton. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, March 14, 2019, at the Scuppernong Church of Christ. Pastor Cleve Edwards will officiate. Burial will follow in the family plot in the church cemetery. The family received friends Wednesday at the Scuppernong Church of Christ, Creswell. Arrangements are by Bryan Funeral Service, Columbia.
