Those interested in adopting a pet should inquire at the Betsy Bailey Nelson Animal Control Facility, 3931 U.S. Highway 264 East, from 1 p.m. until 5:30 p.m. Mondays through Fridays and 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. Saturdays. Because of overcrowded conditions, the animals listed are only available as indicated.

Shimmer

At 8 months old, this friendly, medium-size, smart girl knows the sit command, and she likes interacting with people. Shimmer, an American pit bull terrier is attractive, with her tan shorthair coat and warm brown eyes. She will do best with a loving, attentive and active family who will spend time with her, include her in their activities, give her plenty of regular exercise and play, in a fenced area or on a leash, give her obedience training and, of course, a good forever home. Tigger

This beautiful American shorthair tabby girl is already spayed and ready to go, as soon as her reduced fee is paid. Tigger is stunning in a spectacular coat of buff, gray and ebony with white accents, huge pale green eyes and a rosebud nose. Tigger, at 1 year, 6 months old, is a really nice cat with a friendly, calm and gentle nature. She will be a welcome addition in a variety of good forever, loving, home settings.
