See something, say something
Tyrrell County Schools recently participated in Sandy Hook Promise’s Say Something Week. This effort aimed at educating students to recognize warning signs in others that may be planning to hurt themselves or others. There were daily morning announcements that included warning signs, statistics and ways to help, a selfie booth at lunch time and grade level assemblies.
