Porter Darnell Vinson, 33, a native of Aurora, died Sunday, March 31, 2019, in Aurora. Visitation will be held at the residence of his parents, 1661 Bay City Road, Aurora. Viewing hours are 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, April 6, 2019, at Oscar’s Mortuary. A funeral service will be held 3 p.m., Sunday, April 7, 2019, at Southside High School, 5700 N.C. Highway 33, Chocowinity. Interment will follow at Idalia Cemetery, Aurora. Arrangements are by Oscar’s Mortuary, 1700 Oscar Drive, New Bern.
