Ms. Carolyn Blount Godard, of 157 Marvin St., Harris Acres, Chocowinity, died Tuesday, April 9, 2019. A funeral service will be held 3 p.m. Saturday, April 13, 2019, at Temple of Joy Worship Center, Chocowinity. The interment will be at the Oakdale Cemetery in Washington. The family will be receiving family and friends at the home of Mrs. Patricia Shelton, 2350 Frederick Road, Chocowinity. Arrangements are by New Beginning Funeral Home and Cremation, 219 N. Bonner St., Washington.
