Eldress Shirley Pauline Blango Hackney, 72, of 937 Don Lee Road, Arapahoe, and a native of Beaufort County, died Thursday, June 27, 2019, at CarolinaEast Medical Center, New Bern. A viewing will be held from 9:30 a.m. until 6 p.m. Tuesday, July 2, 2019, at Oscar’s Mortuary. A funeral service will be held at noon, Wednesday, July 3, 2019, at the New Bern Eastern Missionary Baptist Association, 885 N.C. Highway 36 North, Grantsboro, Interment will follow at St. John FWB Church Cemetery, Blounts Creek. Arrangements are by Oscar’s Mortuary, Inc.
