Mr. Hyman “Bud” Willis Lewis, age 80, a resident of Aurora, passed away Saturday, June 29, 2019, at Grantsboro Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Memorial services will be held 6 p.m. Tuesday, July 2, 2019, at Campbells Creek United Methodist Church, conducted by Rev. David Nobles.

Mr. Lewis was born Feb. 23, 1939, in Beaufort County to the late Hyman and Hazel Willis Lewis. On March 23, 1978, he married Faye Butler, who survives.

Survivors include his wife, Faye Butler Lewis; three daughters, Patty Lewis, Jeanne Bonner and husband Don, Kim Toler and husband Johnnie; two sons, Richie Nanney, Dudley Nanney and wife Karen; one brother, Malcom Lewis and wife Kathy; two sisters, Lorita Lupton and husband Brian, Lois Sadler and husband Frank; special family member, Kay Westbrook; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends following the service at the church and has requested to not receive flowers.
