Ray McDonald Hoggard Jr., 52, of Hamilton Street,  Roanoke Rapids, died Tuesday, July 2, 2019, at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville. A funeral service will be held Saturday, July 6, 2019, at 2 p.m. at the Walker Funeral Chapel, officiated by Rev. Eddie Coltrain.  Burial will follow in Edgewood Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday, July 6, 2019, from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. at Walker Funeral Home and following the committal service at the home of Doc and Ann Haislip, 1424 Cooper Hill Road, Windsor. Arrangements are by Walker Funeral Home of Windsor.
