This monster milling machine was removing asphalt from Scuppernong Drive in Columbia Monday morning. Plans are to repave the town’s main thoroughfare from Scuppernong River to Full Circle Crab Co.’s seafood market, one lane at a time.  Main and Broad streets are also being resurfaced. NCDOT is paying the bill, said town manager Rhett White.
