North Carolina Rep. Keith Kidwell will hold a pair of town hall meetings Aug. 8 and Aug. 9 to discuss activities in the General Assembly this session and issues regarding the state budget.

On Aug. 8, starting at 6 p.m., Kidwell will host a town hall at the Beaufort County Courthouse, located at 112 W. Second St., Washington. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m. A second town hall will be held at Vanceboro Town Hall, 7905 Main St., Vanceboro, beginning at 6 p.m. on Aug. 9. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m.

The public is invited to attend.
