Roger Lee Evans, 72, a resident of Ahoskie, died Friday, July 26, 2019, at Hunter Holmes McGuire VA Medical Center in Richmond, Virginia. The family will receive friends Wednesday, July 31, 2019, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Walker Funeral Home, Windsor, and other times at the home. A celebration of life will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 1, 2019, at Elm Grove Baptist Church, with Pastor Preston Jernigan officiating. Burial with military honors will follow at Highland Memorial Gardens in Ahoskie. Arrangements are by Walker Funeral Home, Windsor.
