END WITH A BANG: Group three celebrates their first-place win for their “The Ants and Butterfly” sketch at Cornerstone’s Battle of the Fables competition on Wednesday night. Five groups of students from the Cornerstone summer program chose a fable and made it their own, some choosing to act it out, while others rapped. The competition was an opportunity to celebrate the end of the summer program and recognize the staff involved, as well as the grant that made the program possible, the 21st Century Community Learning Center Grant.
