Hugh “Dobey” Waddell Burroughs Jr., 71, of Havelock, died Saturday, Aug. 17, 2019, at the Crystal Coast Hospice House in Newport. A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Friday, Aug. 23, 2019, at the First United Methodist Church of Havelock, with Rev. Jim Pegan officiating. The family will receive friends the hour prior to the service. Arrangements are by Noe Funeral Service, Inc. of Beaufort.
