County activates damage reporting tool, recovery needs hotline

Beaufort County residents can assist in the recovery process by self-reporting damage of their residential or business property. This information will be sent to FEMA to determine if additional federal assistance can be provided. Reporting can be done on a mobile device or computer.
To report damage, visit http://report-nc-beaufort.orioncentral.com/

  • On the first screen you will enter the address of the property.
  • On the second screen you will enter your contact information. You do not have to provide this information if you do not want.
  • On the third screen you will enter the level of damage.
  • On the forth screen you will upload a picture of the damage. You do not have to upload a picture if you do not want.
  • On the last screen you will confirm the previously entered information and submit the form.

Recovery Needs Hotline
The following number, 252-940-6517, has been established to receive recovery need requests. If you have a recovery need, please call this number and leave your name, address, phone number and a brief description of your need. You will be contacted by the long-term recovery coordinator to discuss your need.
