Doward Nixon Jones Jr., of Roper, died Monday, Oct. 28, 2019, at Vidant Bertie Hospital in Windsor. A memorial service will be held Saturday, Nov. 2, 2019, at 1 p.m. at First Baptist Church, Plymouth. Family will receive friends at the church following the service and other times at the residence. Arrangements are by Maitland Funeral Home, Plymouth.
