Irma Lee Moore, age 79, transitioned Tuesday, Nov. 19, 2019, at her residence in Blounts Creek. She was preceded in death by parents, Theodore Roosevelt Moore, Sr. and Melvina Augusta Moore; one son, James Nelson Moore, Jr.; and two sisters, Madeline Wright and Sina Depolia Brown.

Left to cherish her memory is husband of 58 years James Nelson Moore; her children, Janet Wilson, Wendy Moore, Gwendolyn Ranonia Moore, Tracy Moore, Leslie Moore (Daniel) and Tiawan Moore; siblings, Theodore Moore, Jr., Wilhelmina Lewis, Edd Moore, Delphia Lorraine Minor, Dupree Lindell (Rhoda), Juattee Rogers (Dave), Della Tetterton (Darnell), Alfonza Moore (Helen), Carl Moore, Lloyd Moore (Darlene), Iris Diana Tetterton (Jesse) and Edmond Moore, Sr. (Pam); two sisters-in-law, Willow Harvey and Leila Mason; one brother-in-law, Bobby Brown; 16 grandchildren, Detwion, Cierra, Ridge, Tanya Cortez, Courtney, Julian, Eric, Johnny Jr., Isis, Malik, Jordan, Tiawan Jr., Trustin, Victoria and Trenton; and 12 great-grandchildren.

A celebration of life service will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 30, 2019, at Ware Creek Missionary Baptist Church in Blounts Creek, and she will be laid to rest at Ware Creek Cemetery. Viewing will be held the same day from noon until 1 p.m.
