Pets of the Week: Nov. 30, 2019
The Betsy Bailey Nelson Animal Control Facility will be closed Saturday, Nov. 30, in observance of Thanksgiving.
Those interested in adopting a pet should inquire at the Betsy Bailey Nelson Animal Control Facility, 3931 U.S. Highway 264 East, from 1 p.m. until 5:30 p.m. Mondays through Fridays and 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. Saturdays. Because of overcrowded conditions, the animals listed are only available as indicated.
All adoptions are on a first-come, first-served basis. Please note, the shelter is closed on the first Wednesday of each month for cleaning and maintenance.
This handsome, large, medium-hair American tabby boy is all decked out in a spectacular coat of light to dark gray stripes and cream accents. At 1 year old, Gizmo has a friendly and calm nature, and he will be a welcome addition in a variety of good forever, loving home settings. Gorgeous, smart and friendly just begins to describe Farmer, a 3-year-old, male, tricolor – black, white and red, hound mix. He’s super sweet, loves people, and this big guy will do best with an active family/owner(s) willing to give him lots of exercise in a fenced area or on a leash, take him on their outings and give him their love and attention and, of course, a good forever home.
