Mr. Thomas “Tom” Charles Little Jr., age 79, a resident of Washington, passed away Friday, Dec. 6, 2019, at his home.

Memorial services will be held 7 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 12, 2019, at First Church of Christ of Washington and will be conducted by Johnny Pressley and Ray West.

Mr. Little was born Jan. 31, 1940, in Beaufort County to the late Thomas Charles and Lena Bennett Little. He was a 1958 graduate of Washington High School. His employment included National Spinning, Weyerhaeuser, Stanadyne and Fountain Powerboats. Mr. Little served in the United States Army and was a member of First Church of Christ of Washington.

Survivors include his daughter, Selena Little Rouse and husband Allen, of Stokes; his son, Thomas C. Little III and wife Tonya, of Washington; grandsons, Alex Rouse, of Stokes, Justin Thomas Little, of Washington; sister, Becky Johnson and husband Neil, of Richmond, Virginia, and special friends, Frances Nobles and Jackie Hadley.
