CHS seniors to hold fundraiser for class trip

The Columbia High School Senior Class is having a dinner plate special, a fundraiser, set for Saturday, Feb. 8, beginning at 11 a.m. in the CHS/CMS front parking lot. (The Feb. 8 date is a change from last week’s announcement. The dinner plate special has been pushed back one week.)
The cost of this delicious, homemade plate special with entrees Fish Fry and Fried Chicken is $10.
The dinner plate special includes with the fish and chicken your choice of two sides: homemade potato salad, homemade slaw, stewed potatoes, and green beans. Homemade desserts will also be on sale for an additional cost.
Please come and pick up a plate or reserve a plate with a senior at Columbia High School.
All proceeds go to funding a senior class trip this spring. The senior class has not gone on a trip for awhile, so this fundraiser is to help them get more funds to be able to go to a special place.
For more information, contact a senior or senior adviser and English teacher Dr. Karen Carter at the high school.
