Mr. Russell Edward Williams, age 82, a resident of Paige, Texas, and former resident of Acre and Pinetown, died Thursday morning, Feb. 13, 2020, in his home.

Russell was born on May 27, 1937, son of the late Horace Edward Williams and Estelle Campbell Williams. He was a graduate of Pantego High School and served in the US Navy. He married Shirley Pickett Williams, who survives.

Russell loved being outdoors with nature, especially his birds, and working in his garden and yard. His love for all animals is something everyone will always remember about him.

Surviving with his wife, Shirley, of the home, are three daughters and two sons, Wendy Williams, of Bath, Michelle Williams, of Poolesville, Maryland, Cindy Nichols, of New Bern, Michael Williams, of San Diego, California, and Jonathan Williams and wife Angelica, of Paige, Texas; six grandchildren, Paolo Roma, Stephen Williams, Xavier Williams, Gabriella Williams, Kaylee Williams and Nathan Williams; two brothers, Von Williams and wife Laura, of Monterrey, Mexico, and Gary Williams, of Washington.

In addition to his parents, Russell is predeceased by a brother, Gene Williams.
