Gloria Singleton, of Williamston, died Saturday, Feb. 29, 2020. A celebration of life will be held Saturday, March 7, 2020, at 2 p.m. at Martin Memorial Gardens in Williamston, with the Rev. Dr. Greg Barmer presiding. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at Biggs Funeral Home.

She leaves behind her three daughters, Robin York, of Manteo, Lydia Gurganus (J.R.), of the home, and Sherrie Swain (Danny), of Washington; grandchildren, Travis and Trent York, Christopher Gurganus and Alan and Will Swain; great-grandchildren, Tyner York, Charly Ann, Christina, Christopher II, and Cayah Gurganus, and Kendall Swain; brother, Bill Polta and wife Ellen; sisters, Andy Atkins, Pat Casey and Joanne Polta.

She was predeceased by her husband of over 50 years, Rex Singleton; daughter, Judy Michelle Singleton; brothers, Eugene Polta and Richard Polta; and sister, Darlene Dyskowski.

Arrangements are by Biggs Funeral Home, 302 W. Main St., Williamston.
