Governor to close restaurants and bars, curbside and takeout still allowed

North Carolina Governor Roy Cooper will announce a new executive order this afternoon closing all North Carolina restaurants and bars for dine-in customers. The order comes as part of the state’s ongoing response to COVID-19, and will allow restaurants to continue take out and delivery services. The order is expected to go into effect as of 5 p.m. Tuesday.
