I would like to express my thanks to the Washington Daily News and all the staff for the excellent coverage and news you have been providing during these unprecedented times. Your information has been factual and you have refrained from using “sensational” headlines and making assumptions like we have seen in so many other media outlets. You have managed to successfully balance the unfortunate negative news we hear daily with the positive news that is going on in this community.

Having a local paper allows us all to feel connected, hear about the great stories of people out there in our community helping others that, we would not read or hear about in larger media outlets.

It is my pleasure to continue to support you now and in the future. As you have shown with your coverage just how important it is to have a local paper.
