LOCAL SUPPORT: Washington (noon) Rotarian Sarah Parker (left) presented a $2,000 check to Watson In Homes Professional Tailoring & Upholstery Services owners Susan (middle) and Jeremy Watson (right). The $2,000 grant will help partially fund Watson’s plans to produce and deliver 4,000 face masks to Vidant Health in Greenville. According to Susan Watson, the vast majority of masks will serve the eastern North Carolina medical community during the coronavirus crises. The Washington (noon) Rotary Club previously awarded a $2,000 grant to help fund the Hackney Distillery’s production, bottling and distribution of hand sanitizer throughout Beaufort County.
