Mr. Harold Edward Baker, age 82, formerly of Franklinton, died Tuesday, April 21, 2020, at River Trace Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Washington.

Per his requests, no services will be held.

Mr. Baker was born in Fulton, Kentucky, on Sept. 24, 1937. He was the son of the late Britt Brown Baker and Leffie Mae Eddington Baker. Mr. Baker and his family moved to Tennessee when he was 3. He served in the Tennessee National Guard. Mr. Baker was a truck driver for Southeastern Freight Lines for 28 years. He had been living in Washington for the past two years. In his spare time, Mr. Baker loved to mechanic and tinker as well as watch old western movies.

Mr. Baker was married to the former Carolyn Pruett, who passed away May 6, 2018.

Mr. Baker is survived by three sons, Brent E. Baker and wife Lisa, of Washington, Ricky Baker, of Union City, Tennessee, Gary Baker and wife Cindy, of Clarksville, Tennessee.

In addition to his parents and his wife, Mr. Baker was preceded in death by a son, Anthony Baker, a brother, Jerry Baker, and a sister, Nancy Baker.
