Rebecca Heath Whitaker, 65, of School Drive, Williamston, died Friday, May 1, 2020, at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville. She was born in Martin County on Dec. 12, 1954, to the late Elbert and Rosa Grace Lilley Heath and is predeceased by a sister, Angela Moon. Rebecca was a homemaker and member of Maple Grove Christian Church.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Survivors include her daughter, Tiffany Williams, of Washington; son, Chad Williams and wife Danyell, of Williamston; sister, Julia Price, of Jamesville; brother, Herbie Heath, of Washington; grandchildren, Casey Wrenn and Ashley Winters.

Memorial gifts may be made to a charity of choice.
