Mr. Marion Malcolm “Mack” Harris, age 86, a former resident of Belhaven, passed away Wednesday, July 8, 2020.

A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, July 11, 2020, at Belhaven Community Cemetery and will be conducted by Rev. Charlie Greene. The family will receive friends following the service at the cemetery.

Mr. Harris was born Oct. 31, 1933, in Beaufort County to the late Michael Morgan Harris and Maggie Mae Cook Harris. He was a 1952 graduate of John A. Wilkinson High School. On Aug. 16, 1953, he married Dorothy Adeline McHarney who preceded him in death Dec. 10, 2010. He was a member of First Christian Church in Belhaven and retired from the United States Air Force.

Survivors include two sons, Gary Harris and wife Stephanie, of Fuquay Varina, Keith Harris and wife Sandy, of Alexandria, Virginia, and five granddaughters. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Ed Harris and Lloyd Harris.
