Mr. George Thomas Foye, 79, of 318 N. Harvey St., Washington, died Wednesday, July 22, 2020, at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville. A funeral will be held Saturday, Aug. 1, 2020, at 2 p.m. at L.R. Memorial Chapel, 208 W. Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, Washington. Burial will follow at Edwards/Foye cemetery, Edward. Visitation will be Friday, July 31, 2020, from 2 p.m. until 5 p.m. at L.R. Memorial Chapel. Other times the family will receive friends at the home of his daughter, Ms. Tatia Foye, 201 Lindbeth Drive, Greenville, and the home of his niece, Terry Hawkins, 160 Panticough Drive, Washington. Social Distancing will be in effect the family insist that everyone who attends wear a face mask. Temperatures will be taken.
