The National Hurricane Center and National Weather Service have increasing confidence Hurricane Isaias will track over eastern North Carolina Monday, and perhaps into Tuesday.

Indications are the storm will slow down from the 15 mph it has sustained through the Caribbean.

Beaufort County should prepare for maximum sustained winds of around 60 mph and gusts of 75-plus mph.
