Seven active COVID-19 cases in Tyrrell County
The Martin-Tyrrell-Washington District Health Department reported Monday that 92 cases of Coronavirus 2019 (COVID-19) have been confirmed in Tyrrell County since the outbreak began in March. One death, a 62-year-old man, occurred July 5.
The health department also reported that 85 of those individuals affected have recovered.
Two-thirds of the confirmed cases in Tyrrell are in females, according to a state health source.
Martin County reports 246 cases with 205 recovered and 6 deaths.
