Robert L. Mitchell, 103, received his renewed barber’s license last week. He barbered in Columbia from April 1937 until recent months, and he barbered during three and a half years in the U.S. Navy in World War II. Mitchell was particularly pleased that the renewal license is free to barbers over age 70.
