On Tuesday the 10th of November, 2020, Charles Fletcher Robinson passed away after a horrific battle with Non Hodgkin’s Lymphoma Cancer.
He leaves behind the “love of his life”, his daughter River Isabella, his dog “Coal” and “Meatstick”, his Oscar.
Fletcher was born in Kinston, NC to Charles Edward Robinson and Mother, Malinda. His mother and stepfather, Jerry Heath of Chocowinity, NC survive along with his brothers, Chad and Eddie Robinson, and his sisters Charlene Robinson Smith and Lisa Robinson Brown.
He attended Lenoir County Schools and later he attended Caldwell in Boone NC. Fletcher spent the majority of his adult life involved with the family business, Robinson Carpets of Kinston, NC
Fletcher loved the “The Grateful Dead” and “Wide Spread Panic”. He would travel all over the country to hear them. He always said he had the greatest of friends! He loved them for their loyalty and generous support during the last three year of his declining health.
As per his wishes, a celebration of life will be held on Friday, December 4th at Backwater Jack’s. Washington Park NC. Please come, share the tales of Fletcher and his (mis) adventures. Bring any music or pictures you might want to share. See you there! Please follow COVID-19 instructions.
