We asked area athletes five questions so you can get to know them a little better.
Today’s guest is Panther sophomore Jordan Harding, who competes in cross-country and track.
- Who is your favorite superhero?
Jordan: Aquaman, because he can breathe underwater, talks to fish and has an entire underwater city to hang out in.
- What has been your most useful class so far?
Jordan: ROTC because I want to join the military after high school. I’ve learned a lot about leadership.
- If you could time travel forward or back, which one would you choose?
Jordan: I would go back to the 1950’s when kids had the greaser look with slick-backed hair. I think it would be cool to see what drive-in movies were like back then.
- What is your favorite sporting event?
Jordan: The 2014 Super Bowl between Seattle and Denver. I liked a lot of the Seahawks defensive players and they killed the Broncos (43-8).
- How did you become interested in your sport?
Jordan: I’ve always been good at jumping, so that’s why I do the long jump and triple jump. I also like to run, and I think it’s cool when my times drop as I improve. I like to see myself making progress.
