Mrs. Mae Evelyn Woolard, “Woo Woo” as her grandchildren fondly called her, age 90, a resident of Washington, NC passed away Sunday, March 28, 2021. 

A celebration of life service will be held 2:00 pm, Friday, April 2, 2021 at Joseph B. Paul, Jr. & Washington Funeral & Cremation. Burial will follow at Pamlico Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6:30 pm ~ 8:00 pm Thursday, April 1, 2021 at the funeral home. 

She was born November 23, 1930 to the late Jessie Mae Heath and Richard Edmund Buck in Beaufort County, NC. 

Mae retired from Hamilton Beach after 28 years of service.

She is survived by two daughters: Annie Marie Nobles and husband Tunnie, Edith Paulette Cole and husband Thomas all of Chocowinity, 4 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and 15 great-great-grandchildren. Arrangements are by Joseph B. Paul, Jr. & Washington Funeral & Cremation.
